Environ Software (P) Ltd was incorporated in October 1998 and is
located at Bangalore - the silicon valley of INDIA. It has a team of highly skilled
and dedicated staff, specialized in Environmental Hydraulics, Mechanical, Computer
Science and Telecommunication Engineering.Environ is a multi-disciplinary software
development and consulting firm focusing primarily on solutions to problems involving
Air, Water and Soil pollution through the in-house, state-of-the-art computational
tools. It is capable of solving a wide variety of coastal and marine related problems
that include prediction of currents and tides, flood forecasting, morphological
changes of estuarine bed and effects on marine population due to discharge of various
industrial pollutants. The company is also capable of predicting the spreading of
various pollutants in air media, emitted from the industries and vehicles. Environ
also provides numerical solutions to the problems related to transport of pollutants
in sub-surface flows. The company offers services on field studies to measure and
assess conditions in Air, Water and Soil media.
Apart from dealing with complex environmental issues, the company is developing
sophisticated Computational Fluid Dynamics softwares ( CFD )
, with appropriately chosen numerical methods and physical
models for solving Fluid flow, Heat Transfer and Radiation problems. It is capable
of solving incompressible, compressible and two-phase flows using various integrated
solvers.
Environ is involved in the development of Client/Server, Internet/e-Business
applications. The company is also focused on the development of dedicated
software for specific applications.

Dr. G.S.Reddy obtained his M.Tech.(1990) and Ph.D (1994), in Civil
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He worked
for Transoft in Paris, FRANCE and Bangalore, INDIA for a period of six years. He
has published over 25 professional papers in the field of Hydraulics, Environmental
Engineering, Ground Water and Surface Water Hydraulics. He has developed many scientific
simulation software for environmental impact studies and applied for numerous sites.
Dr. Reddy is a member of IAHR, IE and the Indian Society for Hydraulics.He is one
of the promoters of Environ Software (P) Ltd. and his role in the company includes
planning and project management.

Dr. N.M.Anand obtained his M.Tech.(1972) in Marine Structures from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, India and Dr-ing (1985), in Marine Technology from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, University of Trondheim, Norway. He worked for Karnataka Engineering Research Station, Mysore (3 years) in the field of physical modeling of Marine structures and subsequently at the Ocean Engineering Division, National Institute of Oceanography, Goa (27 years). He has published 30 professional papers and 47 technical reports in the field of Ocean Engineering, and Environmental data collection & analysis for engineering design parameters. Dr. Anand is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, India and member of American Society of Civil Engineers, ASCE, U.S.A. He was guide and external examiner for M.Tech & Ph.D at IIT Madras, IIT Mumbai, KREC, Surathkal & College of Engineering, Goa. Presently hold the position of CEO at Environ Software (P) Ltd. and managing partner & Consultant Environ Associates.
